Aqua & the Floral Blossom

Big Idea:
Humanizing architecture—Even in the most structured environments, nature's symbols can help us breathe, restore, and heal.

A Healing Flow
Inspired by the waterfalls and green spaces surrounding the Norman Regional HealthPlex, this 6,685-square-foot metal façade—designed for the complex’s garage—channels the power of nature through rhythmic patterns and organic forms. Vibrant yet serene, the surface celebrates motion, resilience, and renewal within the clinical complex.

Transforming Architectural Skin into a Gesture of Care
Beatriz Mayorca’s design brings poetry to steel. Guided by biophilic principles, the artwork blends strength and softness, weaving the ripple of water with the quiet symbolism of daisies to create a restorative, multisensory connection to the natural world.
